Unmanned Systems and Sensors Section
The Unmanned Systems and Sensors Section in the Avionics and
Support Systems Department provides engineering services to military and commercial
clients in the areas of avionics form fit function replacement (FFFR), hardware and
embedded software systems development, automatic test equipment design and development,
and other areas. Recent engineering efforts include the development of a small,
inexpensive autopilot based on commercial off-the-shelf components for a tactical unmanned
aerial vehicle (TUAV).
