Aerospace Systems Engineering Section
The Aerospace Engineering Section is
responsible for project activities related to major aircraft subsystems,
including propulsion, avionics, electrical, electronic and mechanical redesign at the U.S. Air Force
Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center depot.
SwRI staff member perform software
development and projects
concerned with technology insertion, reliability and maintainability
improvement, hardware redesign for mature subsystems, aircraft modification
designs, support equipment engineering functions, system automation, process and
performance improvement, technical manual development and office acquisition program
support for a variety of weapon systems including B-52, B-2, B-1, E-3 and KC-135
aircraft as well as the , F100, TF34, TF39, J85, T56, TF33, F101, F108, F110 and F118 engines
and cruise missiles.
